We are a youth-owned enterprise committed to Zimbabwe’s infrastructure development.

Philoxenia Enterprises (Pvt) Ltd was founded by young Zimbabwean professionals who wanted to bring measured, transparent construction to the Bulawayo market. We are based at 115 Moffat Ave, Hillside.

Our story

Why we started Philoxenia.

We started Philoxenia to give clients a builder they can hold to a written contract. Too many Zimbabwean homeowners and developers end up with quotes that grow during the build and finishes that don’t match what they paid for.

We run the company the way we’d want our own family’s house built. Plans first, prices measured against the plans, daily supervision, and a paper trail every step of the way.

As a youth-owned business we also see our work as a way to create skilled employment for young Zimbabweans entering the construction industry.

Sales & Tendering Officer

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Lupane State University. Handles business development, client acquisition, tender preparation and stakeholder engagement.

Ms. Sinte Moyo

Site Foreman

Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Bulawayo Polytechnic. Supervises daily construction, coordinates site teams and enforces health and safety on site.

Mr. Thandolwenkosi Masendeke

Health, Safety & Environment Officer

Bachelor’s Degree in Geography and Environmental Science, Great Zimbabwe University. Owns HSE compliance, risk assessments and environmental management.
